I am a seasoned journalist with a longstanding commitment to sports and entertainment storytelling. My work is driven by a genuine love for the games, the performances and the people behind them, and by a belief that great stories deserve to be told with clarity, authority and purpose.

My career began in the early 2000s at Tuks FM, where I developed a strong foundation in broadcast media while serving as Marketing and Sales Manager. That experience sharpened both my editorial judgement and my understanding of audiences, and it opened the door to editorial roles with publications produced in association with Independent Media. There, I established myself as a reliable and insightful journalist, trusted to deliver stories that informed, engaged and resonated.

As an accredited sports journalist, I have covered many of the world’s premier sporting events, including Cricket World Cups, Rugby World Cups, FIFA Football World Cups, the Olympic Games, multiple Grand Slam tennis tournaments, as well as basketball and baseball at elite level. These assignments have taken me into stadiums, arenas and press rooms across the globe, reporting on sport at its highest level and under its greatest pressure.

Beyond print and digital media, I have served as a correspondent across multiple sports for respected broadcasters and podcasts, bringing an authoritative, informed voice to discussions around the games that matter most to fans. I have also held senior writing roles with platforms such as the Cape Argus Sports Show, the US Press Association, Prescience Media and On The Ball Media, contributing in depth analysis, features and commentary for diverse audiences.

My work extends well beyond match reports. I am particularly drawn to long form storytelling and in depth interviews that explore the human side of sport and entertainment. Speaking to elite athletes, performers and decision makers, I aim to uncover the mindset, sacrifice and emotion that sit behind moments of excellence. My writing blends creativity with journalistic rigour, offering readers insight as well as enjoyment.
